Louder: The Soundtrack of Change Premieres On Max
Louder: The Soundtrack of Change, a new documentary from Max and produced by MakeMake, is now available to stream. Born out of a collaboration between producers and stars Stacey Abrams and Selena Gomez, Louder is a pertinent and powerful celebration of fearless women and their music that moved us.
Directed by Kristi Jacobson and produced by Angus Wall, Kent Kubena, and Terry Leonard and co-produced by Piper Gates, Stacy Kessler-Aungst and Natalie Goldberg, the doc uses archival footage, interviews, and personal accounts from influential figures including Gomez, Abrams, Chaka Khan, Melissa Etheridge, Linda Ronstadt, H.E.R., and Kathleen Hanna to explore and illustrate the stories of some of the most iconic and inspiring female musicians of all time.
"After a 3-year journey making this film, we are absolutely thrilled to have it come out at such an important time,” says Co-Producer Piper Gates. “We hope this project resonates across generations and motivates people to use their voices and vote.”
