MakeMake Nominated for 9 Emmys
We’re proud to announce that two MakeMake original projects — Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones and Temple of Film: 100 Years of the Egyptian Theatre — have been nominated for a total of 9 Daytime Emmys.
Temple of Film: 100 Years of the Egyptian Theatre, directed by Angus Wall, received three total nominations in the categories of Outstanding Short Form Program, Music Direction, and Sound Mixing & Sound Editing. A true MakeMake project from start to finish, the teams across RPS, a52, Elastic, and Primary worked together to bring the story of this iconic Hollywood theater to life. Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones received six total nominations in the categories of Outstanding Lifestyle Program, Directing Team for a Single Camera Nonfiction Program, Music Direction, Cinematography, Single Camera Editing, and Sound Mixing & Sound Editing. Working with best-selling author Dan Buettner, again MakeMake utilized talent from its entire studio and traveled the globe to create this four-part series that explores the science and lifestyles behind longevity around the world.
