MakeMake’s Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones Wins Three Daytime Emmys

The winners of the 2024 Daytime Emmy Awards have been announced, and we’re proud to share that MakeMake’s global chart-topping docuseries for Netflix, Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones, has won a total of three awards in the categories of Directing Team for a Single Camera Nonfiction Program, Outstanding Music Direction and Composition, and Sound Mixing & Sound Editing.

Blue Zones is the culmination of 20 years of globetrotting research on the part of best-selling author Dan Buettner, combined with a 5 year journey with us at MakeMake. Our team utilized talent from across the entire studio and traveled the world to create this inspiring four-part series that explores the science and lifestyles behind longevity around the world.
